Melissa Valentine LPC

Philosophy of Counseling
I consider counseling a privilege and I value every client that walks through my office door. I believe God has placed me in a position to come alongside my clients in order to provide support, encouragement, and godly counsel. Counseling provides an opportunity for individuals to actively pursue emotional healing and personal growth, in a safe and non-judgmental environment. Although our difficulties are unique, we all face trials of many kinds. I believe facing these trials, with the support of a counselor, can be an empowering experience.
As a counselor, I utilize researched based counseling techniques to help children, adults, adolescents, families and groups.
